Corey Mac Nason Memorial Award

This award is presented to a student in the Library and Information Technician program who shows promise in cataloguing, classification or special collections, or who overcame obstacles while studying at Algonquin College.

Mac Nason was a professor for 18 years in the College’s Library and Information Technician program until he retired in June 2017.  He passed away suddenly March 2019. Mac had a significant impact on his students and the library community. He is remembered by his students and colleagues, for his support, his guidance and his great sense of humour.
