Call for Presenters

OALT/ABO is pleased to announce the Call for Presenters for the 43rd Annual Conference for Library and Information Technicians in Ontario. The OALT/ABO conference will be held 28 April – 1 May, 2016, at the prestigious Fern Resort near Orillia, Ontario.

Conference Themes

We are inviting proposals for presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, or posters/exhibits as part of the following themes:

Library Technician Best Practices
E-books and Libraries
Reading, Writing, Literacy, and Learning
Programming

Proposal ideas that extend beyond these thematic areas will also be considered.

Mini-Poster Session and Student-Led Session

OALT/ABO invites you to submit a proposal for the annual conference. If there is enough interest, we will offer both kinds of sessions.

As a library technician, you have skills, expertise, and knowledge on so many topics. Consider showing what you know with others for these two categories.

All proposals will be accepted until 1 December, 2015.
