New Executive Members for the 2017 year

On February 21, 2017, the Ottawa Chapter/Section d’Ottawa held its Annual General Meeting at Biagio’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant. We had nine members in attendance. At this event, we approved the 2016 Executive and Committees Annual Reports and held the elections for the 2017-2018 Executive. The executive members are as follows:
Interim Chapter President: Vincent Elit
Vice-President: Barbara Cope
Secretary: vacant
Treasurer: Nancy-Ann Brethour

The following two positions are currently vacant:
– Chapter President
– Secretary

It is very important that we find members who are interested in stepping up into these roles. We cannot operate the Chapter with less than three Executive members. If you would like to volunteer or you wish to know more, please contact Vincent Elit, A/Chapter President at ottawa@ottawa.oaltabo.on.ca.

I encourage any member (new or existing) who wishes to be part of the Executive, a Committee, or a member of the Board of Directors of the Association to consider coming forward. It is an extremely
rewarding opportunity, which allows you to help out the Library Community at the same time.
